First of all, why should you visit Cairns? Now coming in at number 5 on my list is the Cairns Aquarium. It's a must-visit attraction for anyone that is interested in marine life and unique ecosystems of Tropical North Queensland. The Cairns Aquarium has a Unique Focus, Diverse Ecosystems, a large Variety of Animals and even and Interactive experience for those what love to touch and get their hands a little wet. 

The Cairns Aquarium is the only aquarium in the world that exclusively showcases the aquatic wildlife from Tropical North Queensland's two World Heritage-listed areas: the Great Barrier reef and the Wet Tropics Rainforest.

Visitors can explore 10 different ecosystems, including freshwater streams, mangroves, and the Great Barrier Reef, featuring 71 living habitats. Whilst also being home to more than 16,000 animals! 

You can also enjoy their interactive experience that is the marine touch tank, allowing you to get up close and personal to the animals.

Overall, I think the Aquarium is perfect for a trip with the family and nature enthusiasts alike. 

Now moving onto something that is a bit more up the ally of the adrenalin junkies out there I have Cairns Jet Boat ride at number 4. Well, what is it? Its and exhilarating adventure that offers a unique blend of speed, thrills and scenic views. 

Located at Marlin Parade Berth and operated by Bad Fishy, you get a 35-minute adrenaline-packed adventure through the stunning views of Trinity Inlet and the Cairns waterfront. Keep an eye out for the local wildlife like crocodiles and birds.
